Uploaded the weddings pictures to picasa and linked them into the site, finally.

I'll probably split the images into multiple albums since there are so many of them.

My wife and I absolutely love our two little puppies, Baron and AQ, and I added a section of the site just for them. I hope you enjoy the two video's and know there are more pictures and videos to come!

Added a series of use case guidelines from Writing Effective Use Cases by Alistair Cockburn, with permission his permission.

I'm quite glad that I read his book, use cases always seemed rather useless, the stick figures and ellipses giving little meaningful information.  Ever since the introduction of the UML there has been a craze for drawing in software engineering, as if drawing enough pictures would do our work for us. His book, however, demonstrates how to leverage the power of use cases, not from a picture, but from text.

While exploring the features of google sites I found that there was a news posting feature. So.. I junked the idea of using a blog feed to create site news, although being able to e-mail updates would be interesting, and instead used the site news widget for this, unfortunately it means my first post is now dated wrong, but that's not a big deal.

I've also been playing with getting our pictures uploaded to picasa and linking the albums on this sites picture page. That way its easier to show our photographs to friends and family.

After a bit of a hiatus I've started building a personal site back up.
